Ellen Benfatti (b. 1968) is an artist whose work emerges from the dynamic fusion of intention, energy, and color. Through her Color-Field paintings, she channels healing transmissions designed to awaken creativity, inspire connection, and activate the limitless potential within each viewer.
Currently based in Sedona, Ellen devotes herself to painting full time. She holds a deep belief in the power of public art to spark imagination across all ages, creating spaces that invite wonder, inspiration, and resonance.
Her journey began with studies in Art Therapy at UCSD, where she discovered that the essence of art lies not in the finished product, but in the transformative process of creation itself. Guided by this understanding, Ellen has dedicated her practice to using art as a gateway for healing—nurturing mind, body, soul, and community.
This commitment led her to establish Butterfly Genius Inc., a nonprofit organization supporting the creative process, public art, and artists worldwide.
Ellen’s career has carried her across the globe, with exhibitions throughout the United States, Europe, and South America. Her signature Resonance by Ellie™ paintings have touched diverse audiences, leaving an indelible impression of art as frequency, healing, and transformation.
